About Us

Dream Shapers Foundation is a Ghana-based nonprofit organization dedicated to sustainable community development, environmental regeneration, promoting and Sustaining Quality Education, Children and youth empowerment. With a firm belief in grassroots participation and innovation, the Foundation has led multiple initiatives across the country that align with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly those focused on Equitable Quality Education, Climate Action, Clean Energy, Sanitation, and Responsible Consumption.

In recent years, Dream Shapers Foundation has developed a strong track record in waste recycling, land reclamation, and eco-entrepreneurship, including:

  • Community-Based Recycling Initiatives: The Foundation has designed and piloted source-based waste segregation and recycling models in peri-urban and rural communities, promoting education on plastic waste and providing economic incentives for collection and reuse.
  • Land Reclamation and Reforestation: In partnership with Ohakk 2 Consults Limited and private sector actors, Dream Shapers Foundation co-led the successful reclamation of over 10 hectares of degraded land in the Apramprama Forest Reserve, restoring it with diverse indigenous tree species.
  • Health and Sanitation Campaigns: The Foundation organizes annual health screenings that have exposed sanitation-related challenges in communities like Oteraso, leading to the design of integrated solutions for waste management and public health.
  • Youth Training and Employment: Through skills development programs, Dream Shapers Foundation has trained hundreds of youth in environmental conservation, recycling entrepreneurship, and alternative energy production.
